Embedding in WordPress

There is a dedicated plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce.

    Install the plugin

    Upload and activate the plugin – like any other WordPress plugin.

  2. 2

    Insert the shortcode

    Add the shortcode to the page you want or in the block editor. The configurator appears within your page layout.

  3. 3

    Done

    On phones, the configurator opens full screen so your customers can plan comfortably.

Embedding in Shopify, TYPO3, Wix, Webflow and any other website

On all other systems you insert a short HTML snippet: in Shopify as a dedicated section in your theme, in TYPO3 as an HTML content element, in Webflow as an embed element, in Wix as an HTML element and in Magento as a CMS block. Custom-built websites embed the configurator with the same line.

Start parameters let you control which environment, which step or which preset configuration the configurator opens with – for example “glass roof, anthracite, 500 × 350 cm” on a product page.

Frequently asked questions about embedding

Do I need programming skills?

No. In WordPress, you install a plugin and add a shortcode. On other systems, you copy a single line of code into an HTML element. We can do this for you on request.

Will the configurator slow down my website?

The configurator loads its files from our infrastructure and renders in the visitor’s browser. The rest of your pages are not affected.

Can I show the configurator on several pages?

Yes. You can embed it on as many pages as you like, including with different start parameters for each product page.

Does the configurator run under my domain?

It appears embedded in your website, with your logo and your colours. Your customers do not leave your site.
